Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Similar technologies do the same job in different ways: local storage and session storage keep data inside your browser, and tracking pixels are tiny requests that tell a provider that a page was opened.

This page explains which of these Cleamano uses, and what each one is for.

Signing in to Cleamano does not use cookies. Your session is kept in your own browser's storage:

• cbos_access_token — session storage. The short-lived token that authorises each request. Cleared when you close the tab.
• cbos_refresh_token — local storage. Lets your session continue without asking for your password again.
• cbos_user — local storage. Your name, role and company, so the interface can render before the server answers.
• billing.upgrade.snapshot — session storage. Remembers which plan you were changing to while you are on the payment page.

These cannot be switched off while you use the application: clearing them signs you out. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with anyone.

Our public website can load measurement or advertising technologies. They run only when they have been configured, so what is active on your visit depends on our current setup. The technologies that can be enabled are:

• Google Analytics 4 — audience measurement: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser.
• Google Tag Manager — a container that loads the tags we configure; it does not measure anything by itself.
• Google Ads — measures which advertisement led to a sign-up.
• Meta Pixel — measures conversions and allows advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
• Microsoft Clarity — aggregated usage statistics and session replay of website navigation.
• Other marketing tags that we may add for a campaign.

These providers set their own cookies and decide how long they last; their durations and practices are described in their own documentation, and we do not control them.

These technologies run on the public website. They are not required for the application to work.

We do not currently provide a cookie banner or an in-product preference centre. We would rather say so than show a consent button that changes nothing. Until we offer one, these controls are in your hands:

• Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies, per site or globally. Blocking cookies on our public website does not prevent you from using the application, since signing in does not rely on cookies.
• Most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or tracking-protection setting.
• Google provides a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Advertising preferences can be adjusted in your Google and Meta account settings.
