Accessibility
1.Our commitment
Cleamano is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of its website and software. Cleaning businesses are run by all kinds of people, on all kinds of devices, often one-handed on a phone between two jobs. Making the product usable in those conditions makes it better for everyone.
2.What we do today
We aim to follow widely accepted good practice when building our interfaces:
- Semantic HTML, so that headings, lists, navigation and forms are announced correctly by assistive technology.
- Keyboard navigation for interactive elements, with a visible focus indicator.
- Labels on form fields and accessible names on buttons and icon-only controls.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
- Colour contrast chosen for readability, and colour never used as the only way to convey information.
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and support browser zoom without loss of content.
- Touch targets sized for use on a phone in the field.
3.What we do not claim
We have not carried out a formal accessibility audit, and we do not claim conformance with WCAG at any level, nor compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act or Section 508. Claiming a certification we do not hold would be dishonest and would not help anyone using assistive technology.
Some areas are more likely to fall short than others — dense data tables, the document editor, and PDF documents generated from your own content, whose accessibility depends in part on what you put in them. We are interested in hearing where the product gets in your way.
4.Report a barrier
If you run into something you cannot use, tell us. A short description of what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the browser or assistive technology you use is enough for us to reproduce it.
Write to support@cleamano.com with « Accessibility » in the subject line. We read every message and treat accessibility reports as product defects, not as feature requests.
